Before we build anything, we talk to people. We observe behaviors. We identify pain points. We understand not just what people say they want, but what they actually need.

Starting with Problems, Not Solutions

We don't start with a solution and look for a problem. We start with a problem and look for the best solution. This means spending time in the field—talking to people, watching them work, understanding their daily routines.

When we were exploring wardrobe management, we didn't just build an app. We talked to people about how they choose what to wear, what frustrates them, and what would actually help.

Qualitative and Quantitative

Good research combines qualitative and quantitative methods. We do interviews and observations to understand the why, and we use surveys and analytics to understand the what and how much.

This combination gives us a complete picture—not just what people do, but why they do it and how often.

Iterative Research

Research doesn't stop when we start building. We continue to test, to gather feedback, and to iterate. Every prototype is an opportunity to learn. Every user test teaches us something new.

This iterative approach means we're always refining our understanding and improving our products.

Building Empathy

Perhaps most importantly, research builds empathy. When you spend time understanding people's problems, you can't help but care about solving them. This empathy drives everything we build.
